This course is designed to explore topics from descriptive and inferential statistics: graphing, measures of central tendency and variation, probability, Central Limit Theorem, estimation, binomial distribution, normal distribution, and statistical inference. The laboratory provides hands-on technology experience using a statistical software package (Excel preferred). This course has an additional contact hour focused on teaching students non-cognitive skills and providing additional help with foundational math concepts.
