  • Motivational Speaker to Present Substance Abuse Prevention Message
    HCCC will host a presentation of “There and Back” by motivational speaker Ken Bartolo on Tuesday, February 10 at 12:30 pm in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, Sarkus-Busch Theater. The substance abuse prevention presentation is free and open to the public.
  • Spring Semester Registration Extended Through Monday
    HCCC will accept registrations for new and returning students for the spring 2015 semester through Monday, January 26.
  • HCCC Appoints Associate Dean
    HCCC announces the promotion of Alan Cronauer of Deerfield, NY to the position of associate dean of academic affairs. Cronauer will oversee the day-to-day operations of and planning for the Business, Health, Science and Technology division. In addition, he will be responsible for overseeing the budget, curriculum development, observation of full-time teaching faculty, coordinating classroom assignments and class times and overseeing the assessment process as it relates to the division.
  • HCCC Appoints Assistant Professor
    HCCC announces the appointment of Amy Roepnack of Ilion, NY to the position of assistant professor for Fashion Buying & Merchandising. Roepnack will be responsible for teaching courses in fashion, retailing and advertising along with curriculum development.
  • Notice of Board of Trustees Meetings
    The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, January 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 282/283. Per New York State Open Meetings Law, the public may attend the meeting via videoconferencing at 18201 Highway 180, Gulf Shores, Alabama.
  • Appointment of Dr. Cathleen C. McColgin as President of Herkimer County Community College
    The State University of New York Board of Trustees approved a resolution, at its meeting today, to appoint Dr. Cathleen C. McColgin of Syracuse, NY as the fourth president of Herkimer County Community College.
