  HCCC will hold New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22.

  Last Chance to Register for Fall Semester

  HCCC will hold a final registration day on Wednesday, August 20 for newly accepted students beginning at 10:30 am in the Robert McLaughlin College Center lobby. Following check-in, placement testing and registration for the fall semester will take place. Reservations should be made at www.herkimer.edu/ptr or by calling the Placement Testing line at (315) 866-0300 ext 8878.

  Herkimer, NY—April Harris of Thomaston, CT has been appointed as an assistant professor of Criminal Justice/Cybersecurity at HCCC, effective August 13, 2014.

  HCCC & Cazenovia College Partner To Offer Bachelor’s Degree At Herkimer

  Herkimer County Community College will launch a new partnership with Cazenovia College in fall 2014. HCCC students who earn an associate degree in Education or 60+ credits with prerequisites, will have transfer status into a Cazenovia College baccalaureate program in Inclusive Early Childhood Education, to be offered on the Herkimer campus.

  Weather Watchers Camp

  Herkimer, NY -- The Weather Watchers Camp, sponsored by HCCC and Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES, took place from Monday, July 28 through Thursday, July 31 at HCCC and was taught by WKTV meteorologist Bill Kardas. Scholarships were made possible by the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties to help students attend the camp. Fifteen children between the ages of 9 to 13 participated in the program that featured learning about weather and conducting science experiments.
