  • HCCC Announces Candidates for Commencement
    Herkimer County Community College announces candidates for the College's46th annual commencement to be held Friday, May 16 at 5 pm in the Gymnasium of the Physical Education Building. There are 656 candidates for the associate degree and 40 candidates for certificates. This includes 120 candidates who completed their studies completely online through the College's Internet Academy.
  • HCCC Summer Non-Credit Course Schedule Available
    HCCC’s summer non-credit course schedule is now available. The College offers several summer youth camps and clinics including Calling All Fashionistas, Weather Watchers, Adventure Camp, Robotics Mini-Camp and a variety of sports camps.
  • Student Film Showcase this Thursday Evening
    HCCC will hold its 5th Annual Student Film Showcase on Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center Amphitheater. The showcase will feature works from Associate Professor Robert Gassmann’s Digital Filmmaking class, as well as from a special film seminar taught by Assistant Professor of English Andrew G. Devitt, Instructor of English Matthew Powers and Gassmann. The event is free and open to the public.
  • Phi Theta Kappa Induction
    Sixty-seven HCCC students were inducted into the Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Phi Theta Kappa provides development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas, lively fellowship of scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
  • HCCC Relaunches Literary Magazine
    The short stories, poems, and artwork of HCCC students, alumni, emeritus, and staff will be showcased in the relaunch of the College’s literary magazine, Phaethon. The magazine shares a long and prestigious history with the college and has featured the works of many talented artists over the years.
  • 46th Annual HCCC Commencement
    Herkimer County Community College’s 46th annual Commencement will be held Friday, May 16 at 5 p.m. in the gymnasium of the Physical Education building. There are 695 candidates for degrees and certificates this year.
