    Herkimer County Community College was recently ranked second among two-year colleges in New York State by OnlineColleges.com.
  • Dr. Robert DeCarlo Appointed to HCCC Board
    Dr. Robert L. DeCarlo, of Herkimer, NY, has been appointed by the Herkimer County Legislature to the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees for a term to expire on June 30, 2021. He will fill the seat formerly held by Alfred A. Barbato, who served on the Board for 15 years.
    Dr. DeCarlo was a podiatrist at Slocum-Dickson Medical Group from 1980 until his retirement in January 2017. He also served as the Group’s corporate compliance officer and chair of the Corporate Compliance Committee for 17 years as well as chair of the Risk Management Committee.
  • Herkimer’s Matt Lee Named BCANY Coach of the Year
    HCCC head men’s basketball coach Matt Lee has been named 2017 Junior College Men’s Coach of the Year by the Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY).
  • HCCC Soccer Camp
    HCCC’s annual soccer camp drew over 100 kids to Wehrum Stadium July 10th-14th to learn from Herkimer Generals men’s soccer coach Pepe Aragon, women’s soccer coach Jason Palkovic and several current and former players. The campers ranged in age from 6 to 15 years old, and most came from the local area with a few exceptions of kids traveling from as far as Las Vegas to attend the camp. HCCC offers several summer youth athletic camps and clinics each summer. Benefits for the kids include the opportunity to develop skills, gain experience, build confidence, and have fun.   • Notice of Board of Trustees Meetings
    The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, July 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the Classroom Administration Building, room 243.
  • HCCC Children’s Center to be open year-round
    The HCCC Children’s Center will be open all year, beginning this fall. Openings are available for children from age 18 months to five years old starting Monday, August 28.
