50th Anniversary Gala to be held April 29The Herkimer County College Foundation will host a 50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, April 29 from 7-11 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. The event will be held in recognition and celebration of the 50th anniversary of Herkimer County Community College.

Two Herkimer Students Named to Phi Theta Kappa All-State Community College Academic TeamHerkimer County Community College students Keegan Connolly and Jamie Rogers were named to the Phi Theta Kappa All-State Community College Academic Team. They were recognized at a ceremony held at the New York State Museum in Albany NY, on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Phi Theta Kappa, community college presidents and community college state associations sponsor All-State Community College Academic Team ceremonies in 38 participating states.

HCCC Appoints Area CoordinatorHCCC announces the recent appointment of Vince Brookins as area coordinator for the Reservoir Run residence hall community. Brookins will be responsible for the supervision, mentoring, and management of 125 student residents and four resident assistants. As a member of the Residence Life staff and Student Services team, Brookins will share central housing office duties and participate in the on-call residence life duty system.

HCCC to host College Night for High School Students and FamiliesHCCC will host a College Night sponsored by the Herkimer County Guidance Association on Tuesday, April 4 from 6–7:30 pm in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. The program is open to Herkimer and Oneida County high school sophomores, junior, seniors and their families.
