  Herkimer College Appoints Dr. Vernold as Assistant Professor/Director of Education Programs

  Herkimer, NY—Herkimer County Community College has announced the appointment of Dr. Eric Vernold, Rome, NY, to the position of Assistant Professor/Director of Education Programs. In addition to teaching education courses, Vernold will be responsible for developing and maintaining practicum and internships for education majors with school-based partners and placing, monitoring and evaluating students participating in practicum and internship experiences.

  Retirees Honored with Emeritus Status

  The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees recently approved emeritus status for five retiring employees, effective January 1, 2019.

  Herkimer College to Offer START Day

  Herkimer College will hold a START Day for new on-campus students on Friday, January 18 beginning at noon. The START Day includes student testing, advisement, registration and transition activities.
  All accepted, first time, full-time, on-campus students for the spring 2019 semester, and have not yet registered classes, are encouraged to attend.
