Herkimer College Appoints Dr. Vernold as Assistant Professor/Director of Education ProgramsHerkimer, NY—Herkimer County Community College has announced the appointment of Dr. Eric Vernold, Rome, NY, to the position of Assistant Professor/Director of Education Programs. In addition to teaching education courses, Vernold will be responsible for developing and maintaining practicum and internships for education majors with school-based partners and placing, monitoring and evaluating students participating in practicum and internship experiences.

Herkimer College to Offer START DayHerkimer College will hold a START Day for new on-campus students on Friday, January 18 beginning at noon. The START Day includes student testing, advisement, registration and transition activities.
All accepted, first time, full-time, on-campus students for the spring 2019 semester, and have not yet registered classes, are encouraged to attend. -
